Mingus Springs Charter School – Chino Valley, AZ
We helped extend a gardening grant by donating seeds for a first year school garden in an elementary charter school. The garden focuses on kid friendly, nutritious foods which will entice students to be more involved in growing and producing their own foods.

The Sawmill Museum – Clinton, IA
Using heirloom seed for planting a garden to provide an example of social class distinction and gardening history in a sawmill town.

Jailbrakers – Woodstock, IL
Donated seed for community garden that provides healing for children and families of incarcerated people. Produce is sold at garden stands and churches in and around Woodstock.

Farm To School and School Garden Program – AZ Dept of Education, AZ
Donated seed packets to create container garden kits for school garden education and development. A pilot project to jump-start school garden programs in AZ.

Kenwood Baptist Church Community Garden Program – Cincinnati, OH
Second year of a Community Garden project to teach gardening to younger members and provide food pantry donations. First year was a success, with expansion plans to possibly include neighborhood in gardening and participation.

God’s Gang – Chicago, IL
A direct food supplier through urban farming to low-income Chicago residents. Provides agricultural training to families helping them to become more self-sufficient. Promotes personal growth for youth through sustainable urban agriculture projects.

The Garden Project/Greater Lansing Food Bank – Lansing, MI
Seed donation provides help to over 1000 families to grow their own vegetables through a community garden providing access to low income residents. This is our 2nd year of helping.

Second Harvest – Spokane, WA
Grows fresh food that is donated to regional Inland Northwest agencies and food banks through the Plant a Row for the Hungry program of neighbors helping neighbors. Provides more than 1.7 million pounds of food each month to over 250 nonprofit community food banks that feed over 40,000 people every week. This is our 2nd year of support.

Penn State Horticulture 4H School Enrichment Program – Collegeville, PA
Works with many area schools to implement “Outdoor Classrooms” to educate children about gardening while observing plant, entomology and wildlife.

The Gan Project – Chicago, IL
The Gan Project nourishes, protects and celebrates Jewish life through the cultivation of soil and community through building a regenerative food system. They work towards systemic change by developing working models that demonstrate the viability of community food systems designed to be recreated in other communities.

Sapo Gordo Ecological Restoration Services – Albuquerque, NM
Establishing Albuquerque’s first bee sanctuary through propagating almost an acre of bee acctractive plants.

Bernalillo County Extension Service 4-H Seeds Program – Albuquerque, NM
Gardening program for 3rd grade students partnering with local Master Gardeners and Teachers to reach over 50 area elementary schools.

Wittenbach/Wege Agriscience and Environmental Education Center – Lowell, MI
Community Gardening Program planted by 300 4th grade students, maintained over the summer by the Junior Master Gardeners with harvested produce donated to the Flat River Outreach food pantry. This is our 2nd year of partnership.

Menard Correctional Center Gardening Program – Springfield, IL
Institutional gardens providing self sufficiency education for the inmates; healthy, fresh food for the prison kitchens and donations to local senior citizen centers, food banks and food pantries. Our 2nd year of donations.

Granny’s Garden School – Loveland, OH
Educates school kids and their families in gardening, provides tours and support in setting up similar programs at other schools. Celebrated their 9th year this year!

Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard Community Gardening Program – Bloomington, IN
Community garden that provides education in gardening and seed saving as well as distributing food to regional food pantries since 1998. Directly supported over 2,000 patrons in an average week with seed, seedlings or food from the garden in 2011. Taught garden and nutrition education workshops in partnership with the City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation. Our 3rd year of helping with seeds.

Capitol District Community Gardens – Troy, NY
Supports over 3,100 gardeners in 46 community food gardens in inner city areas throughout upstate New York since 1975. Provides low income residents improved self sufficiency through community garden programs. This is our 3rd year of support.

Historic Francis Land House Master Gardeners – Virginia Beach, VA
Public education/demonstration garden for area schools, donates fresh vegetables to Seton House, a local youth shelter. The Master Gardeners not only demonstrate growing heirloom vegetables, but provide feedback on growing trials of how different varieties perform in Virginia. This is our 3rd year of partnership.

Highlands Center for Natural History Schoolyard Habitat Program – Prescott, Prescott Valley and Chino Valley, AZ
An Elementary school program that uses the school garden to teach math and science. We have provided seeds for 4 years now.
