Zone 7

Zone 7 has a medium-long growing season, enough that all but the longest season vegetables have time to ripen.

A last frost date of mid to late April and a first frost date of early to mid-October mean a frost-free growing season from early May to late September. These dates are general guidelines, so watch the weather forecasts before planting.

A medium-long growing season with an average low temperature of 5°F mean starting indoors and providing early and late frost protection will give good harvests.

Scroll down to see the vegetable planting guide. The orange color shows when to start seedlings indoors, the yellow is times to transplant or direct sow and the green is harvest dates.
